Announcements for March 28th
Greetings Brethren,
Many of us have traditionally fasted before Passover. Even though the Day of Atonement is the only commanded fast, God’s people have always been encouraged to voluntarily fast occassionally in order to draw closer to God. We are not trying to get God’s attention to do what we want but rather we are wanting to put God first in our lives and are asking Him to help us to grow in our faith and relationship with Him. This faith does not only apply to healing but to trusting God’s will and timing in our lives. We know that “time and chance” does not happen to those who are close to God and we want to stay close to Him and learn life’s lessons the easy way and not the hard way.
Brethern, Passover is now only 11 days away. Let’s use this special Sabbath today to really focus on drawing closer to our Father and think about those areas of our life where we have tended to drift away.
Have a Great Sabbath
Rick and Liz Stafford
